Barça could send Aleix Vidal out on loan in January

Recovering the outlay on the player in January does not seem likely at the moment

The situation remains open and both Barça and Aleix Vidal have still not spoken about what will happen in January. What's more, the club's sporting director Robert Fernandez has reiterated that the club have total confidence in the player. What is clear, though, is that if the player is still being ostracised, both Vidal and Barça will have to seek a solution. As of today, a loan would seem like the best option to the Catalan club.

The Blaugrana don't want to sell for less than 13 million euros -- they signed him for 18 million euros from Sevilla -- and it's unlikely an offer of that amount will arrive in January. A loan could allow the player to drive his value up again. For now, there have been no talks with any clubs, but in the summer there were various sides interested in the right-back. We will have to wait a few weeks to know the final solution.

Vidal is upset that he was left out of the squad against Deportivo La Coruna on Satruday. Despite Sergi Roberto being injured, Luis Enrique opted not to include a right-back, leaving the 27-year-old out for the seventh consecutive game.
