Guardiola says his players "are tired" as Bayern Munich all-but wrap up German title

Pep Guardiola watched his Bayern Munich side edge to within the smallest distance of the Bundesliga title on Saturday, but he is still concerned about the state of his squad.

Bayern have to play Barcelona in the Champions League in May and Pep is worried his players won't all be ready.

"In theory we are champions," he admitted according to 'Ara', "but not mathematically. We still have big problems. We don't have enough players to rotate.

"On Tuesday we play Borussia Dortmund, soon we play Barcelona. Our players are tired. They have played a lot of games. Today we only had 13 or 14 players."

The former Barça boss analysed the injury situation at he club, with the first leg of the Champions League clash with his old side just 10 days away.

Pizarro was able to play his first minutes "after two months injured"; Javi Martinez "is coming back from eight months out"; Rafinha "has a knock"; Bernat "couldn't play"; nor could Xabi Alonso; and Schweinsteiger "played 90 minutes after just three training sessions."

"We have a lot of problems. Rode played as a left-back, Benatia can come back and Robben, too, but they have been out for a month. Today we are happy because we are nearly champions, but we are at our limit," Pep added.

Guardiola, however, showed hope in regards to the match with Barça: "Now we will play against Barça, the best team in the world, and we will try [to beat them]."
