Tello and Montoya challenge Luis Enrique
The FC Barcelona footballers Cristian Tello and Martin Montoya had not been planned to join up with the squad until August 8, after their respective loan deals at other clubs last season.
However this Tuesday, Tello's agent already revealed his client's intention to come back on Wednesday.
He was not alone. Both Tello and Martin Montoya have attended the Barça training complex to undergo their medical tests, and they intend to join the first team squad's training sessions on Wednesday evening, in the second session of the day to be taken by manager Luis Enrique.
Despite not being involved in any international competition with their national teams, the players had extra days holiday.
The club still has to find an exit for each player, either in the form of a loan or permanent deal, before the new season gets underway.
But both players have decided to bring forward their date to link up with the squad to accelerate the process, or alternatively to play their way into the plans of Luis Enrique.
Tello posted a photo on Instagram with his Barça training top and the message: "We begin".
