Barça's Dani Alves: "I will take a decision on my future when the season ends"

Dani Alves claims he will not make a decision on his future until the end of the campaign.

The Brazilian right-back's agent held a press conference last week to say Barcelona's contract offer is not satisfactory, while Josep Maria Bartomeu says the saga is still not closed.

However, Alves, speaking to beIN Sports ahead of the Champions League game with Paris Saint-Germain, says he's in no rush to sign anything as his deal draws to a conclusion in June.

"I am coming to the end of my contract, but I still have the same ambition I had when I arrived at Barcelona.

"Barça changed my life because I have been able to achieve my dreams at the club. I am happy at Barça and I have not signed for another club.

"If clubs offer me an alternative or I am not at the level Barça want me to be at then I will contemplate other options.

"I will decide at the end of the season."

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was also present in the interview and he said Alves would be a great signing for PSG "because he would complete their Brazilian defence" with Silva, Luiz, Maxwell and Marquinhos.

The Ligue 1 champions will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Wednesday due to suspension, with Alves pointing out he is "a big loss"

Alves, though, also highlighted the losses of Marco Verratti and Thiago Motta as well.

"They will be big misses. They will miss them in midfield a lot," he added.

"But PSG are a great team and football often rewards teams who play football, as is the case with PSG.

"I think they are one of the best teams left in the competition and this match could be one of the best in the Champions League this season."
