Zinedine Zidane was the picture of happiness after Real Madrid's 6-0 win over Galatasaray on Wednesday moved them closer to the knockout rounds.
The French coach was especially happy with the performance of 18-year-old Brazilian Rodrygo, who scored a hat-trick in the win.
"Every time he goes out on the pitch, he proves himself, that's why he's playing," Zidane said. "He always does well, but if I had to choose one quality, it would be that he's a very intelligent player who learns a lot quickly."
The Madrid boss also spoke about Karim Benzema, who scored twice in the win to move passed Alfredo di Stefano into third place on the list of the club's top scorers in the Champions League, behind Raul and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Benzema's part of Madrid's history, like Raul and Ronaldo, because his numbers speak for themselves," Zidane added. "I'm delighted for him, it's not easy to go past Di Stefano. Now he has to get past Raul!"
