Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior is trying to recover from his injury that he suffered against Ajax in the Champions League last 16. To get back to his best he has hired Thiago Lobo, who was working as a physio at Santos in Brazil.
AS say that the young forward hasn't just got him on a freelance basis or to just work on his ankle ligament tear, but on an indefinite basis.
The decision was taken by the player and approved by his people, while Real Madrid are fine with it too. Lobo is one of the most in demand physios for Brazilian players, with Gabriel Barbosa using him during his time at Inter Milan.
In terms of his rehab, Vinicius seems to be advancing. On Feb 20 the medics got positive results back from a scan. The idea at the moment is that he could return a little earlier than expected, at the end of April.
