Real Madrid defenders Jesús Vallejo and Álvaro Odriozola returned to the squad after overcoming their injury problems and are among 20 players called up for the Copa del Rey round of 32 second leg clash with Melilla on Thursday.
Santiago Solari brought back Odriozola after he missed the games against Valencia and Roma with a muscle problem, while Vallejo has not featured in any of the last 10 games after having a season marked by multiple trips to the sick bay.
The Argentine coach has left out stars like Luka Modric, Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois, Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos, while Toni Kroos and Marcelo Vieira who have had injury troubles recently were also left out.
Madrid have a 4-0 lead from the first leg. They have called up various B team players like Javi Sánchez, Fran García, Álvaro Fidalgo and Cristo González.
The 20 man squad is: Keylor Navas, Casilla and Luca in goal; defenders Carvajal, Vallejo, Varane, Odriozola, Reguilón, Javi Sánchez and Fran García; midfielders Valverde, Llorente, Asensio, Isco, Ceballos and Fidalgo; and forwards Lucas Vázquez, Vinicius, Mariano and Cristo.
