Barcelona have let another young talent escape to join Real Madrid. Alberto Soro (20) will leave Zaragoza to join Los Blancos’ B team Castilla, for 2.5m euros.
The midfielder is skilful, left-footed and has good technique on the ball, and along with Barcelona and Madrid, Eintract Frankfurt and Girona (with the support of Man City), offered 2m euros.
Barca have followed Soro’s evolution closely and shown interest in him but eventually lost out to Madrid. The same happened in the case of Jesus Vallejo, the young Zaragoza centre-back both clubs wanted, who eventually ended up at Madrid.
Soro has played in 29 games this season with Zaragoza in Liga 123, playing 1316 minutes, scoring two goals and setting up two more.
