It feels like Eden Hazard wanting to join Real Madrid is one of the worst kept secrets in football. In previous seasons he's hinted at a move away to Los Blancos but it's never been quite as clear as it is now.

When asked about his future the winger said: "I've made my decision. I told the club two weeks ago but it's not just about me."

Chelsea fans have known about this likely being his last season at the club and Hazard was honest enough to say that qualifying for the Champions League wouldn't be enough to make him change his mind about a move away. "No, I don’t think so," he said. "I have made my decision, that's it. I have made my decision, but it is not just about me. We have a [Europa League] final to play and then I will see."

Real Madrid will hope to secure their first major signing ahead of a summer rebuild on and off the pitch at the Santiago Bernabeu.
