Perhaps Zinedine Zidane's harsh words for Gareth Bale were designed to take away the spotlight from yet another loss in his second tenure as Real Madrid coach.
Zidane seems happy to let Bale remain in the stands as he focuses on raising money to fund his move for Paul Pogba.
According to 'The Independent', PSG and Real Madrid had discussed a possible swap deal involving Bale and Neymar.
However, this appears unlikely as Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, didn't even know about the rumoured swap.
He told ABC that he had more pressing concerns than Bale's future today. "What is my plan now? I'm going to sit on my sofa and watch The Open. I'm not worried about Bale's future at all. Ask Zidane why he was so harsh with Bale."
When asked about what was next for his superstar client, Barnett became a little more serious. "China? The Premier League? I'm not going to give any details about transfers which might or might not happen. Sorry."
