Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is contemplating a return to the dugout with Chelsea if, as expected, Maurizio Sarri is sacked by the London club.

However Zidane is clear to lay down some ground rules before he'd accept the role on a permanent basis. The first demand is that Hazard is offered a new contract and stays at the club. The other proposal is to be handed more than 200 million euros as he looks to overhaul the squad.

Zidane wants to be in control of who comes and goes at the club, which wasn't the case at Real Madrid. The coach also believe the squad needs significant investment and wants assurances that he'll be handed the funds to make the necessary improvements.

The current situation at Chelsea isn't great. Sarri's methods don't appear to be working and there are suggestions he's already lost the support of key men amongst the dressing room. Should they pull the trigger and sack the Italian coach, it'll be interesting to see whether they match the conditions Zidane is asking for.
