Xavi Calm could make a huge step up this summer. The former coach of Cornella, who has just had his contract ended by mutual agreement, is the favourite to take over at English second division side Birmingham City.
Reports in England make Calm the No.1 candidate to take over the Midlands side after his impressive season with Barcelona-based Cornella.
He led the Catalan side into the third tier play offs, but missed out on promotions to the second division, losing to Ponferradina in the first round.
Following the departure of Jordi Roger Ceballos, Calm managed to keep Cornella at a good level while also playing good football. They finished the campaign especially well.
