As with each transfer window, Manchester City are preparing to strengthen their squad with some big signings. They have won back-to-back Premier League titles under Pep Guardiola but still want more.
Guardiola's asked the club to sign Joao Cancelo this summer, the Portugal right-back currently at Juventus. He joined the Italians last summer from Valencia for 40.4 million euros but has not always impressed in Turin and has offers to leave.
Juve will only sell if they can make money on their investment, though, and Tuttosport report that City are prepared to do that with an offer of 60 million euros for Cancelo.
Last season, Cancelo played 34 games, scoring once and setting up eight more goals. Before anything happens, though, Juve need to find a new manager.
They would then have to find a new right-back, too. Cristiano Piccini (Valencia) and Kieran Trippier (Tottenham) are two options.
