Jose Mourinho railed against his medical staff during the 0-0 draw with Sevilla, perhaps as a way of drawing conversation away from a lamentable attacking performance at the Sanchez-Pizjuan by his side.
Ander Herrera went off injured in the 18th minute and the coach said it was the fault of medical staff saying that the Spaniard was fit, when he wasn't.
“I think it is a bad injury," said the angry coach. "He had a small injury that stopped him from playing the last couple of matches, but the medical department said he was 100 percent ready for last Saturday (against Huddersfield).
"We didn’t play him to give him more time to work and more protection, but it looks like he was not fully fit.”
