Luis Enrique breaks his silence after landing Spain job

New Spain coach Luis Enrique has spoken for the first time since he was appointed as Julen Lopetegui's replacement following La Roja's World Cup elimination.

Speaking to Deportes Cuatro, Luis Enrique was the Luis Enrique we all know from his news conferences as Barcelona coach. 

Asked about landing the Spain job, he said: "I don't know if it's a dream, but the job excited me. I've been lucky enough to play international football, to suffer and enjoy the Spain shirt during many tournaments and I'm looking forward to it. I am happy and motivated." 

When asked about how he would treat the media, he added: "The same as always, I can't improve. I will treat you as you deserve to be treated. I am 48, it will be diffiult to change now. I am aware of where my career has taken me."
