Paris Saint-Germain hammered Dijon on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes but the game didn't have a happy ending for Neymar. The Brazilian ended the encounter visibly angry after he was whistled for taking the penalty which made it 8-0.
That's because Neymar prevented his teammate Edinson Cavani from taking a penalty which, if scored, would have broken a record. With the goal he scored in the game, the Uruguayan moved level with Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the club's top goalscorer on 156. The penalty would have taken him to 157, clear at the top.
At 7-0, Parc des Princes was enjoying itself. Neymar had already scored a hat-trick... but he wanted more. And that selfishness did not go down well with the supporters, despite the fact he scored from 12 yards to make it 8-0.
After the game, while his teammates were celebrating an incredible win, the former Barcelona forward headed straight for the dresing room, declining an interview with Canal + France.
