Gianmarco Ferrari's form in Serie A this season with Sassuolu is drawing interest from several Spanish clubs, with rivals Sevilla and Real Betis both monitoring his performances.
Defender Ferrari, who was on loan with Sampdoria last season, has been one of Sassuolo's best players and has even contributed in front of goal, scoring three times in 12 games.
His contract runs until 2021, which could make it tough to sign him, though, according to reports in Corriere dello Sport, with both Sevilla and Betis keen to land the 26-year-old in January.
Various clubs tried to sign the defender in the summer. Roma, Marseille and Zenit have all shown an interest and could also move again in the winter window.
