Getafe sways pass Granada 3-1 on Thursday at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. Getafe faced the match with a desire to make up their league after losing against Sevilla 2-0 while Granada won in their last two matches of the competition against Real Betis at home stadium, and Osasuna at home stadium, by 1-0 and 1-0 respectively. Granada boosted the game in the second half, thanks to a goal from Antonio Puertas in the 74th minute. However, Getafe just before the end of the second half increased their advantage thanks to a goal from David Timor in the 88th minute, finalising the game with a 3-1.

As for substitutions, both coaches used full substitutions. For Getafe, Xabier Etxeita, David Timor and Francisco Portillo came on for Leandro Cabrera, Damián Suárez and David, while Granada brought on Quini, Antonio Puertas and Ramón Azeez to replace Domingos Duarte, Ismail Koybasi and Yan Eteki.
