Eibar defeat Celta 2-0 on Sunday at Municipal de Ipurua. Eibar wanted to continue adding points after winning at home stadium by a 3-2 victory against Sevilla while Celta scored a 1 draw against Espanyol, adding a point in the last match played of the competition. At the moment, Eibar is 11th in the LaLiga, having garnered 8 points from 7 matches, while Celta sits at 16th with 6 points after playing a total of 7 matches.
An impressive opening from Eibar, with a goal from Edu Exposito just before the end of the 45 minutes, thereby seeing the first half to a 1-0.
Eibar took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Fabián Orellana in the 60th minute, finalising the game with a 2-0.
As for substitutions, both coaches used full substitutions. For Eibar, Álvaro Tejero, Pedro León and Charles Dias came on for José Ángel, Fabián Orellana and Kike, while Celta brought on Rafinha, Pape Diop and Gabriel Fernández to replace Stanislav Lobotka, Okay Yokuslu and Brais Méndez.
The referee booked Anaitz Arbilla, Fabián Orellana and Sergio Álvarez from Eibar, while for Celta Lucas Olaza saw a yellow card as well.
