Leganes could be the next destination for former Real Madrid midfielder Guti. He has already decided to leave Los Blancos, where he's the U19s manager, at the end of this season in search of a new challenge.
According to AS, Leganes will make him an offer after their current coach Garitano confirmed that he will leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
Reports say Guti is the Madrid club's first choice. The ex-Spain international has good references and Leganes feel he is ready to take the next step in his coaching career -- talks have already begun.
"There are offers but nothing is decided," Guti said a few weeks ago on El Chiringuito after confirming his desire to take on a new challenge away from the Bernabeu.
"I'm hoping for a good offer, there's some from outside of Spain. Now I need new challenges. For me, it would a dream to coach Madrid in the future, but there's a moment when paths have to separate."
