Ivan Perisic, the scorer of Croatia's first goal against England in their 2-1 win on Wednesday, was chosen as man of the match in the World Cup.
Perisic netted in the 68th minute and changed the game, which looked like it was sending the Three Lions into the final for the first time since they won it in 1966.
The Inter Milan midfielder worked hard and deserved the award. "I'd like to thank everybody who came to Moscow and supported us back at home too," said Perisic. "It's a dream to score one of the most important goals (for my country)."
