Atletico Madrid have reinforced further. They have signed a deal with AC Milan for the transfer of Niko Kalinic for 15 million euros, on a three-year deal.
The Madrid club announced the signing of the 30-year-old forward by highlighting his ability in the air and his great experience in European football.
"A veteran forward, Kalinic has spent the past few years of his career in Italy," said Atletico in a statement.
"He had a successful stint with Fiorentina, where he scored 33 goals in 84 matches, before signing for Milan in the 2017 summer transfer window. For the Rossoneri, he played 41 matches last season. Before that, he played for Hajduk Split, NK Istra, HNK Sibenik, Blackburn Rovers and Dnipro.
"He made his debut for the Croatian National Team in 2008 and has scored 15 times in 42 matches.
"With a great aerial presence (1,87 metres tall), Kalinic is a force to be reckoned with in set pieces and aerial plays. He's also good at holding up the ball and is great at shooting from a distance. Welcome to Atlético, Nikola! "
Meanwhile Luciano Vietto moves to Fulham on loan from Atletico Madrid.
