Hoy Aragon claimed that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu had moved the headquarters of his buisnesses to Monzon (Huesca). The report said that "the step taken by Bartomeu to simplify the structure of his group of companies collides with the waterline of the independence referendum speech FC Barcelona defend." It's a statement which created a consequent stir at all levels.
But it didn't take long for the report to be responded to. The group Adelte, ran by Bartomeu, have denied that any move has taken place. They also add that they have always had their corporate and social base in Barcelona and that there is no plans to change that. And finally, the company say they have had a centre in Monzon for several years. A very clear denial.
