It appears Monchi isn't a fan of Roma's plan to replace the sacked Eusebio Di Francesco with Claudio Ranieri and is set to leave the Italian club as soon as today, according to 'Sky'.
The media outlet claims the former Sevilla transfer king has reached an agreement to depart Roma in the next few hours.
Roma were eliminated from the Champions League thanks to a late, late goal scored by FC Porto. Off the pace in Serie A and out of Europe, questions have been asked of Monchi and his running of the team.
The long term project started well. Last year, Roma reached the semi-finals ofthe Champions League but supporters have now lost patience with the direction the club is taking.
Monchi could be heading to Arsenal. The London club are looking for a new man to lead their project and he could join up with former Sevilla coach, Unai Emery.
