Juventus have increased their offer for Matthijs de Ligt. Ajax insist they want €75m for their young defender and the Italian side's new offer is closer to that, coming in at around €67m. This is according to Dutch newspaper 'De Telegraaf'.
The latest offer is significantly higher than the €50m bid which was made last week.
Juve hope to present the defender on Saturday and avoid him flying out to Austria with Ajax. Instead, they want him to join Juventus on their Asia Tour where his first opponent would be Tottenham Hotspur.
The 19-year-old has already agreed personal terms with Juventus and will earn around €11m per season whilst at Turin.
"It remains a question of when, rather than if, he'll travel to Italy."
