According to the 'El Larguero' programme on Spain's Cadena SER radio station, Luis Enrique will once again overlook Jordi Alba when he announces his latest Spain squad. According to sources, the bad relationship between the two remains the main reason behind the full back's absence and he will instead look to recall Sergi Roberto and Isco.
Despite Alba's fine performances this season it hasn't been enough for Luis Enrique to bring him back into the fold. But remember, it isn't anything personal.
In the squad list for the matches against Croatia in UEFA's Nations League tournament, as well as the friendly against Bosnia, there could be a couple of new faces: Espanyol's Borja Iglesias and Mario Hermoso. Luis Enrique watched the pair at Cornella recently.
Luis Enrique will officially announce his squad this Thursday morning on social media before holding a press conference afterwards.
