Interest in FC Barcelona's on-loan midfielder Andre Gomes continues to grow. His performances for Everton in the Premier League haven't gone unnoticed and the latest side to be impressed are Tottenham Hotspur.
According to 'The Telegraph', Tottenham want to move ahead of Everton and are ready to table a £30m offer for the Barça midfielder. Spurs had previously wanted to sign Gomes on loan in January 2018.
Tottenham's chief scout, Steve Hitchen, watched Gomes in the Merseyside derby and Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of the Portuguese international.
Everton also want to sign Gomes on a permanent deal but the player himself was keen to distance himself from any decision until the season was over. "Now it's about finishing the season in the best way possible, to give my best in every training session and in every match. We'll see about my future at the end (of the season)."
