Ernesto Valverde doesn't want to begin preseason with a bloated squad and that's why he's asked the club to do everything possible to move on the players he doesn't want to use next season.
There are three footballers who will definitely leave this summer: Rafinha Alcántara, Malcom and Jean-Clair Todibo. Barça is open to loaning the young defender so he can get more regular playing time. Valencia are interested in Rafinha but talks have stalled in recent days. Malcom is wanted by Arsenal and Everton.
Perhaps the more complicated deals involve Philippe Coutinho, Nelson Semedo, and maybe even Ousmane Dembélé and Ivan Rakitic. The latter two are largely dependent on what other transfers happen during this window.
Bayern Munich have recently expressed an interest in Dembele but Barça won't even consider letting him go unless Neymar arrives. Some have expressed a desire to move on this summer and the club would accept a fair offer for them. Others are valued highly by Valverde and will remain at Barça for another season.
