Sergi Roberto has been out with a thigh strain he picked up in the match against Athletic Bilbao at the end of September. This forced him to miss the fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League and Valencia in LaLiga. It also means he wasn't called up for Luis Enrique's latest Spain squad.
However, the versitile midfielder will be ready to return to action following the upcoming international break. This means he should be available for the top of the table clash with Sevilla at the Camp Nou on the 20th October.
Roberto is recovering well from his injury and bar any late setbacks, he'll be another option for Ernesto Valverde to call upon. Nelson Semedo has been playing at right back in his absence.
Valverde sees Roberto as a key member of his squad. He missed the previous two matches because due to injury, the fixture against Girona so he could be rested and the Spanish Super Cup final through suspension.
