Sergi Roberto suffered a painful blow against Malaga which has affected his workload in the last two days. The affected zone is his quads. He is having to act with caution to make sure he's fit to play Chelsea on Wednesday in the Champions League.
On Sunday the player came to the club's sports centre to be treated and he did that again on both Monday morning and afternoon. An intense work session to minimuse the effects of the blow. The tests ruled out any type of rupture but he is acting with caution.
That meant he did not train with the group, but he will do so on Tuesday, the day before the game. The other right-back, Nelson Semedo, is out injured.
