FC Barcelona centre back Samuel Umtiti looks like he's finally overcome his troublesome knee problems.
Umtiti opted against going under the knife and after a slow start appears to be on his way to recovery. In fact, the French defender is expected to make his full return following the upcoming international break and as such would be available for the match against Atletico Madrid. A return against Real Betis on Sunday hasn't been ruled out yet either.
The likeable defender travelled with his teammates to Milan but wasn't named in Ernesto Valverde's match day squad.
However his confidence in being back out on the pitch again soon was backed up by his post on Twitter where he said: "One step closer to returning."
Valverde has only had two centre backs available in recent weeks - Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet - as aside from Umtiti, Thomas Vermaelen is also on the sidelines with an injury.
