Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has confirmed that Sandro Ramirez is free to leave the club this summer. “We are going to open the door for him to leave,” he said.
Robert explained that the club didn’t take up an option to extend Sandro's contract on May 1. because the intention is to allow to him to make a move away from Camp Nou, with interest in Spain and in England.
He also said that he is grateful to Sandro, 20, adding: “Last summer he had a lot of offers to leave. We couldn’t make any signings at that time and he made a great effort to stay.”
Meanwhile, on Barça’s season, he said: “It’s been extraordinary. There was a really high intensity in La Liga with really competitive teams.
“We knew we had to fight until the final game because Real Madrid and Atletico obliged us to.”
