Malcom is one of the players to keep an eye on in the winter transfer window. The winger joined FC Barcelona in the summer when the Catalan club stepped in on Roma's deal. However, the Brazilian's start to life in Spain has not been easy and he's not played much under Ernesto Valverde.
Having played just 25 minutes, many teams are interested in his future. Among them, Arsenal. The London club want to add Malcom to their attacking line. Coach Unai Emery is looking for someone with the forward's profile to add to his attacking line of Ozil, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan. Malcom's speed and versatility across the front line is what Emery's looking for to push on in the Premier League.
It's the same story at Tottenham, where coach Mauricio Pochettino has a long-standing interest in Malcom.
Barça believe that Valverde will give Malcom the chance to shine. The injury to Lionel Messi has seen him enter the squad for the game against Inter on Wednesday and he could get an opportunity. If in the winter, though, his situation has not changed, the player could opt for a loan move in search of minutes.
