Antoine Griezmann's future is no longer at Atletico Madrid. The French forward has told the club on Tuesday that he will leave at the end of the season.
In a meeting with CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, coach Diego Pablo Simeone and sporting director Andrea Berta, the player expressed his will to leave.
Griezmann has not revealed his next step but everything indicates he will endn up at Barcelona, who pushed hard for him last summer but were turned down via his 'The Decision' documentary.
The Atletico forward has a 200 million euro release clause but it will drop to 120 million on July 1.
To avoid another saga like last summer, Atletico wanted to know Griezmann's intentions as soon as possible. The 28-year-old will play his last game for the club this weekend.
