The situation between Neymar Jr. and PSG remains tense. With FC Barcelona keeping their distance, PSG hope to sit down with the Brazilian next week to find out what his intentions are this summer.
Neymar will arrive in Paris on Monday with both sides keen to talk. PSG were expecting him back on the 7th but Neymar and his team insist the club knew he wouldn't be back in Europe until the 15th. It's unknown whether the Brazilian will be fined for his extended absence or not.
Due to his late return, Neymar won't be selected for PSG's preseason opener against Dynamo Dresden next Tuesday. However, dependent on how that meeting goes, Neymar could even miss their second match against Nuremberg on the 20th.
PSG's director of football, Leonardo, has been open about the possibility of selling Neymar this summer if a "satisfactory offer" arrives on his desk. In France they are reporting that Thomas Tuchel has asked for Neymar to be sold.
