On Sunday there was a meeting betweeen Barcelona and Juventus to discuss the future of Andre Gomes.
The Portuguese player is wanted by the Italian side to reinforce their midfield and Barcelona are interested in selling him after inconsistent performances last season.
Time is running out because the transfer market is closing on Wednesday and the clubs do not agree over the cost of the deal. Juve are willing to pay 30 million for the player but Barcelona want 50m. The differences are notable but the meeting on Sunday could serve to bring them closer together.
Barcelona are thinking of selling Andre Gomes to sign Angel Di Maria from PSG, a player the technical team like. Barcelona have also offered Gomes to PSG as part of a swap deal with Di Maria but the French club are not particularly inclined to sign Gomes.
