Luis Suarez was sincere and critical of Barcelona's performance in the 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao. The Blaugrana lined up without Leo Messi, his good friend, but the Uruguayan told BeIN Sports: "It's clear that apart from having the best player in the world, we can't depend on Leo coming on to sort things out.
"There are a lot of us here on our own merits, for having shown a lot at other clubs, and it doesn't depend only on Leo and Busi coming on. We had to have won the game before they came on."
Suarez, asked if it was worrying that Barca had gone three league games without winning, said: "It gives you a bit of precaution, we lacked a bit of attitude the other day against Leganes and today in some cases. We have to be self-critical and reflect to take on the responsibilities at a club like Barcelona."
The Uruguayan said it was an "injustice" that Athletic went in ahead, becuase "they shot once and they scored. We had two or three good chances to score, but that's football."
