Luis Suarez didn't score against Athletic Club as Barcelona were held to a goalless draw but he tried to play down more dropped points in La Liga.
"We're still top," he said. "The important thing is that we still have a good advantage, we're still top and we have not lost today."
The Uruguayan, though, did admit that "there was a lack of communication in the first half. That's something we have to improve. We lost balls, we didn't speak. We have to ask for the ball more. It's the little details."
Suarez also said that Barça are "on the back of a run of a lot of games and maybe that was a plus for them. They were better rested for the game."
As for Messi, who started the game after a recent thigh problem, Suarez said: "If Messi played it's because he's 100 percent. But it was difficult to play because they constantly stopped the game with fouls."
Finally, he also praised the brilliant performance of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who made two big stops: "That's why Ter Stegen's one of the best in the world. He's shown it again here."
