Lionel Messi missed a penalty against Real Valladolid as Barca won 1-0, but he scored one in the first half.
The Argentine was denied by ex Barca stopper Jordi Masip, who impressed on his return to Camp Nou.
Kiko Olivas fouled Philippe Coutinho to win the dead ball for Messi, La Liga's top scorer with 22 goals, including his first half penalty.
The forward went the same way, towards the bottom right corner, but this time Masip got there and repelled his strike.
Luckily for Barca they won the game to move 7 points clear at the top of La Liga.
Messi has missed 27 penalties through his career, 14 of them in La Liga.
He's missed five in the Copa del Rey, three in the Champions League, one in the Super Cup and four with Argentina.
