The deal for Neymar continues to move forward and both clubs, via intermediaries, are searching for the right 'formula' to make a transfer work for everyone. Barça hope to reduce the asking price by offering certain players in exchange. According to 'Le Parisien', PSG are interested in Malcom. Leonardo, their director of football, knows the player well from his time at Bordeaux.
Barça signed Malcom just 12 months ago for €40m but the player hasn't been involved as much as he had expected under Ernesto Valverde. However, in those rare opportunities handed to him, Malcom has shined down the wing. But whilst it's true that everyone is happy with his performances, he simply doesn't fit into the model or system that Valverde prefers at Barça.
PSG's interest in Malcom doesn't come as a surprise as the winger is attracting interest from across Europe. Barça value the Brazilian at around €40m.
