Juventus want to see off the competition and tie down the signing of Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt as soon as possible.

The Italian club are making moves now to convince the Dutch international that a move to Turin is the best option for his career.

Juve took advantage of the Golden Boy gala -- an award won by De Ligt this weel -- to surround him with Juve defenders Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chielini and Andrea Barzagli in an attempt to sway him.

The Serie A side are ready to pay the 75 million euros Ajax want for the player and the Italian press believe Juve lead the race to sign the 19-year-old.

Ajax have reportedly even asked for a Juve youngster -- Moise Kean -- to be invluded in the deal.

However, Juve must first win round De Ligt, who is also one of Barcelona's top targets for the summer transfer window.
