Luka Jovic's father, Milan, has confirmed in comments to German newspaper Bild that his son is going to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt for another season.
However, Milan Jovic has also confirmed that the forward had an offer from Barcelona. But he preferred to delay his exit from the German club.
"Luka has a lot of offers. One from Barça. However, he's not interested now. He's not sure he would have minutes at Barça," Jovic's father explained.
"He wants to remain in the Bundesliga and get Frankfurt into the Champions League."
Milan, therefore, confirms the information reported by'Frankfurter Rundschau' this week. They revealed the Serbian forward was weighing up staying where hs is and rejecting the offers coming his way.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are among the other clubs to be linked with him.
Frankfurt will take up their option to sign Jovic from Benfica permanently this summer for €7 million. He has been on loan at the German club for the last two seasons.
