Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta has written a message on social media for all those injured during the filming of a television show with the journalist Riso Mejide on Tuesday. A temporary stand collapsed while Mejide interviewed Iniesta, leaving 11 people injured.

"After this morning's scare, I want to send my support and best wishes to everyone that was there. I hope that those injured recover as quickly as possible," Iniesta wrote on social media.

Mediaset and Mejide also posted messages on social media after the events at a football pitch in Poble Sec, which fortunately didn't lead to any serious injuries.

"We're grateful to the security team, ambulance services and firemen of Barcelona for the immediate attention they showed to those lightly injured during the filming of Chester," Mediaset said. "We regret what happened and wish everyone a swift recovery."

Mejide added: "Out of respect for those injured, we have deleted everything which was filmed today. The important thing is that everyone recovers as soon as possible."
