Gerard Pique was furious with the decision to award a penalty against him as Barcelona were held to a 2-2 draw by Osasuna on Saturday.

Pique handled the ball inside the area in the final 10 minutes and Roberto Torres scored from the spot to earn the home side a point after Barça had come from behind to lead 2-1.

"The ball hit me in the hand," he said. "If it hadn't hit me in the hand it would have been in my face. I can't move my hand. I'd like those who say it's a penalty to jump and see where their arm goes. For me, it's not a penalty. How many handballs happen every week that are not given?"

Barça have now dropped five points from their opening three games having lost to Athletic Bilbao in week one.

"We know that the season's long, although we'd have liked nine points from nine," Pique added. "We've dropped five which we can't get back, but there's a long way to go and we have to start winning games to aspire to win La Liga.

"To take a positive, what will stay with me is those minutes at the start of the second half when with some tactical changes we were more comfortable and played with more freedom.

"Fans will have their opinion but it's time to be together and turn things around. I'm not saying there are any nerves, but since the end of last season, there have been opinions on the club, the staff, the players, the board... Diversity is good, but now with the season underway, we have to have confidence.

"The eliminations in the Champions League have done damage. There are options: go for [us] or against. The best for the club is that everyone goes together."

Pique also praised the contribution of academy products Ansu Fati -- who became the club's youngest ever scorer in La Liga at 16 -- and Carles Perez, who set up both goals.
