Arda Turan's future remains linked to Galatasaray, the club where he began his professional career 12 years ago. The interest from the Turkish club in the Barcelona player is nothing new, but in recent hours, reports in the player's homeland have insisted, things have progressed.
Reports in Turkey talk of an offer from Galatasaray worth 2.5 million euros, while they would offer the player 4 million euros for a one-year loan. Galatasaray know Barça need to free up some space in the dressing room and, surely, Turan would be one of the players Enresto Valverde would be prepared to let go. He didn't even come off the bench on Monday against Chapecoense.
In addition, this week Turan posted a photogrpah on Instagram Stories of a child wearing a Galatasaray shirt, which could be interpreted as a sign a move back home is on the cards.
