Xavi Hernandez played his last game as a professional on Tuesday for Qatar's Al Sadd, but Thursday marks four years to the day since he featured for the last time as a Barcelona player at Camp Nou.
On May 23, 2015, Xavi played against Deportivo de la Coruna in a 2-2 draw. The Blaugrana had already been crowned champions and Xavi was able to lift his first league title as the team's captain. His final game at Camp Nou after 17 seasons at Barca.
He couldn't have asked for a better goodbye. There were many tears, including from Xavi himself. He left the club with 25 titles to his name - 8 Ligas, 3 Copas del Rey, 4 Champions League, 2 European Super Cups, 6 Spanish Super Cups and two Club World Cups. Xavi played 769 games for Barca in which he scored 85 goles and provided 183 assists.
