Lucas Digne looks certain to leave Barcelona in the next few days. The French left back has told the club he wants to leave this summer in order to get more minutes under his belt. Barça, in turn, have agreed to his request but only if an offer of €16m is made for his services. Juventus are interested but now there is a new candidate at the front of the queue: Everton. The English side are ready to make an offer for the player which will be close to Barcelona's asking price. It could even be a double deal as Everton also want to sign Yerry Mina.
Digne's idea is to find a team where he's going to play week in, week out. The Frenchman was hurt after missing out on his country's World Cup squad and wants a change of scenery. Barcelona already knew about his intentions to leave and the club is searching for an amicable solution.
Everton are a very real possibility for the left back. The English team have been searching for someone to play there for six months and Digne now becomes a priority. The player himself would prefer a move to Juventus but the Italian club need to sell Alex Sandro first and, at present, no one has bid for the Brazilian full back.
