Ernesto Valverde spoke to the media ahead of Barcelona's return to Champions League action. He wants the team to forget about their painful eliminations by Roma and Liverpool in the previous two editions.
"I've said it many times, a bad day can get you kicked out of the Champions League, however well you've done. Last year we won eight or nine games, drew three or four and we lost one. And we didn't get to the final. Errors are very pricy and you have to compete at all times, not losing concentration for 10 minutes.
"Last year was very good apart from for one game, but that is the past, tomorrow is the future and the good thing about football is that it always gives you another chance and we have to try and take advantage."
