Italian forward Patrick Cutrone is looking forward to his country's game against Argentina on March 23. He is delighted to be able to face Leo Messi, someone he joked that he had only been able to see on the PlayStation or TV.
"For me Messi is a PlayStation character, I always see him on TV and never had the chance to do so live. Seeing him will be an honour for me," said Cutrone.
The young Milan striker has enjoyed a great season.
"I'm 20 and dreams never end. Last year I played with the youth team and I did not think I would get here, I will always try to train as best I can and give thanks to the coaches who have helped me get here."
The Italian has netted 15 goals in this campaign, between Serie A, Italian Cup and Europa League, and hopes to make his national team debut.
"To be with the national team is a dream, I hope now I can debut. We will see what the coach decides. I've never had fear, this is a chance and I'll try and take advantage of it as best I can."
