PSG's president Nasser Al Khelaifi will meet with Adrien Rabiot and his agent, Veronique, this week to make a decision on the player's future. The president's challenge is to convince the midfielder his best option would be to stay in Paris. This appears to be a decisive moment as many of Europe's top sides are keeping an eye on developments.
The meetings between the club and Rabiot so far haven't reached a positive conclusion. In fact Antero Henrique, who is the director of football at PSG, has even suggested that PSG look to sell the midfielder in January to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
Nasser Al Khelaifi has waited until now to get involved. The meeting was supposed to take place last week but was put back for a few days. It comes at an important time as PSG face off against Liverpool in the Champions League too.
FC Barcelona are concerned that Nasser might be able to persuade the player to stay.
